Time to stop pretending we don’t know other animals are sentient beings

Rowan et al.’s target article is an outstanding review of some the history science sentience, but one would have liked to see a much stronger “call action.” We don’t need any more data know that many other animals are sentient beings whose lives must be protected from harm in wide variety contexts. It not anti-science want action on behalf right now.
